Salad Toes?

Exceedingly similar to salad fingers! So in terms of originality that scores you down (and I trust this is not a parody/fan art or it would have said so in the author's comments)

However, I really like salad fingers style creepy-weird animations. And this has it's own merit. The animation was pretty good, the music suited the piece, and overall I liked it.

You obviously have the imagination to come up with weird shizzle, so my feedback (for what it's worth) is that next time you use it to come up with more original characters and landscapes too.

I haven't bothered to read all the reviews, and I presume this point has been raised already. Sorry if this sounds like a broken record - just was my instant opinion.

I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT!

I have to say, I love humour that is close to the bone, but this ALMOST fractured it, and may well be too close for comfort - for many.

let me tell you why I think this ALMOST went too far, but works, and shouldn't be viewed as offensive:

Before I begin, let me make FIRMLY clear that I do not believe the holocaust or war of any kind a laughing matter; war of all kinds, and the holocaust, fill my heart with repulsion. And sombre contemplation of the evil of mankind.

Ok here it goes..... this flash is about a war where many millions died, and unimaginable cruelty was endured. Inevitably then, this will be a tetchy subject to discuss in a comic way. However, I do firmly believe that human strength comes primarily from our ability to move on from disaster, and suffering, and to get on with life. And I don't know about the rest of you, but my life would suck without a smile and a giggle - heck i poke fun at my own previous tribulations and help my friends do the same with theirs. Perhaps it is a coping strategy.

This flash will not take away the bravery of the soldiers who fought, nor does it make a mockery of the holocaust - its infamy will never leave us.

This is, however, a well constructed and obviously original flash that was well thought out and executed well. It cleverly pokes fun at the ridiculous depths that people will go to just to make a buck. They'd shoot their grandma, just to beat their competitors' prices. And this flash may bring a laugh. A laugh about a horrible war and a filthy atrocity that has scarred mankind. A laugh where perhaps there was not one before. A laugh that no-one thought SHOULD be brought into existence.

I'm sure this flash will spark controversy, but before other viewers go into autopilot revulsion I ask: is it so bad to move on from the horrors that haunt us with a smile on your face, ready to face another day?

HOWEVER

The description you gave, whilst I appreciate was it made for comic effect, was insensitive. It builds the expectation of the viewer towards a sombre and heartfelt tribute to the wars NOT satire or joviality.

This I feel spoils your flash, in that it will lead to a great many people taking offence out of shock. It will lead to a great many people watching this flash who are not willing to laugh about such tragic fragments of our past.

This I believe is both lacking foresight and is genuinely unfair to those who did not wish to view such material. You NEED a disclaimer stating that you mean no offence and you NEED a warning.

This flash is CERTAINLY not suitable for everyone

Almost perfect

love this type of game and you made a high class one! The homage to toss the turtle was inspired. In fact this game was ALMOST perfect..

Found a bug/cheat:

Throw the plane backwards - as long as you have the emergency booster you can boost out of the stall and fly forever at one altitude! Just don't click the game again!

I stopped once i was over 9000

I really love it

Mixed opinion...

The good: the background is awesome, the colouring is great, You are not afraid to use lines (a big plus!) and i especially like the highlight line around the girl

The bad: The anatomy isn't quite right (like the feet, facial proportions), and I don't like the lips, wink or legs (not sexy, kinda...repulsive?)

I think your style is REALLY getting there, but needs just a bit of tinkering to truly breakout.

Hope you don't mind my comments. Not trying to be a bumrat.
